What Is John F. Barnes MFR?

John F. Barnes Myofascial Release (MFR) is a highly specialized type of hands-on therapy aimed at treating pain, restoring motion, and improving overall function by targeting the body's fascial system. Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, organs, and nerves throughout the body.

This approach, developed by world renowned expert John F. Barnes, emphasizes the importance of releasing restrictions within the fascial system. These restrictions can develop due to trauma, injury, poor posture, inflammation, or emotional stress, leading to pain, limited mobility, and other physical limitations.
